Alexis Joanna Pfile

Alexis Joanna Pfile , 25 , loving daughter of Joseph V. and Debra S. (Posey) Pfile passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Lexi was born on July 19 1996. She is survived by her brother Tanner (Courtney), her deeply loved dog, Jax, and her best friend, cousin, and "sister by heart", Katy Cieslinski.
Lexi was a 2014 graduate of BVA and a 2018 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. While attending college she worked at the Rostraver Shop N Save. After graduation from college and to the present time, she was employed by the Westmoreland County Children and Youth Services in Greensburg as a caseworker.
Lexi is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Mariann Posey of Belle Vernon and her paternal grandparents, John (Jeanie) Pfile of Charleston, South Carolina and Joelle (Guy) Karelli of Charleroi. Surviving also are the following aunts and uncles, Ross (Raja)
Pfile, Jason (Rachel) Karelli, John David (Kate) Pfile, Ashley (Jody) Pfile, Angie Cieslinski, Jim (Karen) Posey, Michael (Tara) Posey. The following cousins and friends who celebrated life with Lexi and loved her deeply; Jenna, Jake, Jacob and Morgan Posey, Carley, Christopher and baby Jesse Green, Nick Cieslinski, Shannon, Drake, Levi, Haley and many more loving relatives and friends who are too numerous to mention.
Preceding Lexi in death was her grandfather (Pappy) James J. Posey, who always "loved her more"; great grandparents, Vernon and Virginia Pfile, Joseph and Viola Ciepiela, Anthony and Josephine Ortolona, and Joseph and Anna Posey; and aunts, Joanna and Missy (Cramer) Posey.
Lexi was a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved her. She will be sadly missed by all.
