Blanche Gough) Kopanic

Blanche (Hilda Gough) Kopanic, 80, of Carroll Township, died at her home on Sunday, November 19, 2017. Born in Charleroi on December 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Blanche (Schultz) Gough.
Blanche was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church and the Christian Mothers. Blanche was fiercely devoted to her loving husband, Bob, her four daughters and her six grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren and was at her happiest spending weekends by the pool with her kids. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. She loved to bowl and spent many years with the Jednota and Senior Leagues. Blanche will be sorely missed but always in the hearts and minds of all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert J. Kopanic; daughters, Carol (Neal) Rands, Cathy (John) Enright, Cindy (Eric) Santori and Christy (Lou) Caviris; grandchildren, Neal and Chrysta Rands, Carissa and Cayla Caviris and Jacob Santori.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her grandson, Jordan Kopanic-Sosnak and her brother, Wayne Gough.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Valley Church with Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
