Bryan Whitlatch, Jr., 85, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Rostraver Township, died Friday, August 28, 2015 in Carmichaels. Born in Rostraver Township on January 10, 1930, he was the son of the late Bryan N .and Jane (Smalley) Whitlatch.
Bryan was a retired town service man from Columbia Gas Company. He loved Blue Grass and Country Music, and he loved to dance. He was a member of the Moose, Veterans Club, American Legion and Eagles, all in Bonita Springs, Florida and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his two sons, Bryan Keith (Beverly) Whitlatch of Scottdale and Bruce Allan Whitlatch of Fredericktown; two daughters, Linda (Rich) Zuccarini of Pleasant Hills and Debbie Forsythe and husband, Charles of Casper, Wyoming; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a special friend and dance partner, Theresa Brioli.
In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by three sisters; he was the last surviving member of his family.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Brad Sickler officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
