Daniel Campbell

Daniel J. Campbell, 68, of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on September 8, 1947, he was the son of the late George and Kathryn (Donnelly) Campbell.
Daniel worked for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as a union steward and delegate. He loved gardening, flowers, and making renovations. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War .
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Stephens) Campbell; sons, Donald R. (Michelle) Campbell and Trevor Daniel Campbell, all of Michigan; grandchildren, Bretton Campbell, Daniel Campbell, Jack Campbell and Luke Campbell; brothers, Jack Campbell of Belle Vernon
Robert Campbell of Gillespie, Gary Campbell and David Campbell both of Michigan; sisters, Joyce Duvall, Kathleen Chew and Charmaine Boyer, all of Michigan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Stephens Campbell and a brother, George Campbell.
Friends will be received 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Glenn Hart officiating. Military honors will follow the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
