Deane L. Smith

Deane L. Smith, 84, of Rostraver Township, died Saturday, October 10, 2020. Born in Rostraver Township on August 24, 1936, he was the son of the late Frank H. and Camille T. (Schmidt) Smith.
Deane was a warehouseman for Wetterau Foods and was Baptist by faith. He was a member of the Star Junction Sportsman Club, a life member of the NRA, and was a hunter safety instructor. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Cehlarik) Smith; son, Dr. Deane L. (Lori) Smith of Evansville, Indiana; daughter, Diane L. (Brian) Sparks of West Palm Beach, Florida; and grandson, Landon M. Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, F. Rodney Smith and Dr. Blair J. Smith; and sister, Carol Kolodziej.
At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
