Edward M. Lario

Edward M. Lario, 89, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Born in Donora on May 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Adrosko) Lario.  

Ed was a photographer for the FBI and was an insurance adjuster for the Fireman's Fund. He was a member of the Church of St. Anne, the Donora Elks and the Donora Senior Golf League. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Janet (Witek) Lario; children, Mark (Lisa) Lario of Columbus Ohio, Pam (William) Angelis of Rockville, Maryland and John M. (Rachel) Lario of Ruffs Dale; grandson, John E. (Heidi) Lario of Melissa Texas; granddaughter, Lindsay Angelis of Washington, DC; great grandchildren, Summer Lario and Olivia Lario of Melissa Texas step grandchildren; Chris (Molly) Cook, Julia (Ben) Gaskill and Ben (Alex) Cook; sisters-in-law; Charlene Lario of Speers, Mary Louise Palm of Smithsburg, Maryland and Lorraine Dickie of Houston, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Lario. 

Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Edwin Wichman officiating. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
