Eleanor Jane Gillock

Eleanor Jane Gillock, 87, residing in Belle Vernon, PA passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at The Donnell House with her loving family at her side. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sophie (Strullmeier) Peters.
She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Rostraver Grange for many years. Her passion was watching her sons horses race at The Meadows. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Michael J. Gillock. She was the last surviving sibling of eleven children.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda (Bill) Sutton of Washington, PA, Barbara (George) Popelas of Houston, PA and Debra Hawker of Smithfield, PA; two sons, Michael Gillock and Richard (Linda) Gillock all of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, who all brought joy to her world.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
