Elva B. Wapiennik

Elva B. Wapiennik, 90, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, November 27, 2020. Born in Wyano, PA on August 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Albin and Leona (Johnston) Bartron.
Elva was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Donora. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her grandchildren, whom she babysat and spoiled!! She was active in attending all of their activities and sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Carl F. Wapiennik; daughter, Ellen L. (Kim V.) Steadman of Rostraver; grandchildren, Gabriella M. Steadman, Tyler C. Steadman, Ryan T. Wapiennik and Hannah C. Wapiennik; great granddaughter, Adalynn Wapiennik; sister, Barbara A. Bartron of Lilburn, Georgia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Carl Eric Wapiennik in 2014.
Friends will be received on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
