Evelyn M. Kaifes

Evelyn M. Kaifes, 93, of Bethel Park, formerly of Rostraver Township, died Saturday, December 29, 2018. Born in Uniontown on August 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Cossel) Mutnansky.
Evelyn worked as a secretary in her earlier years. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of the church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and James Miller of Pittsburgh; and three grandsons, Matthew Miller, Brendan Miller and Kevin Miller, all of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Kaifes on July 21, 2013.
There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Twp. with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti presiding. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
