Francis “Bruce” Bruno, 76, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home with family by his side. Born in New York, NY on October 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Catherine Susan (Hecklick) Bruno.
Bruce was a graduate of Rostraver High School (Class of 1962) and the College of Steubenville. He worked for Firestone and worked in Finance for Mellon Bank in Donora, Charleroi and Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Church of St. Anne and the Fayette City American Legion. Bruce was an avid sports fan, following the Steelers, Pirates, University of Pittsburgh, and local high schools, including Belle Vernon Area and the Rostraver Twp. local recreational sports. He enjoyed going to Bill's to meet with the "Breakfast Club". He honorably served his country in the US Army during Vietnam.
He is survived by his brother, Dr. Gerald Bruno of Madison, MS; sisters, Maria (Kenneth) Kite of Rostraver and Judy (Gary) Main of Selbyville, DE; cousins, Bill Ball, Anthony Calderone, Patty Weldon, Carmel Calderone, Jimmy Bruno, Sandy Greco, Dr. Regis Serinko and Leonard Calderone.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET on Tuesday, March 2 at 10 a.m. for a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver with Rev. David J. Nazimek presiding. Entombment, with Military Honors, will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
The family offers a special thanks to Nancy Glass for her compassionate care of Bruce with all his medical needs.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to either St. Judes Childrens Hospital or to the Rostraver Food Bank.
Everyone attending the visitation and services must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Only 40 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
