Frank Mizikar

Frank R. Mizikar, 86, of Rostraver Township died Monday, October 31, 2016 in Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Calumet, PA on June 8, 1930, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Seni) Mizikar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Frank was a retired Business Manager/Educator from the Belle Vernon Area School District. He was an active member of the Church of St. Anne and the Holy Name Society. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
The husband of Jo Ann (Nedrow) Mizikar, he is survived by his; children, James (Janet) Mizikar of Rostraver Twp., Jane Ann Mizikar (Leslie Mark Harvath) of Jeanette and John (Linda) Mizikar of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Jessica Mizikar of Belle Vernon, Jeanine Mizikar (Adam) Dugan of Moon Twp., Schuyler Harvath of Bridgeport, WV, Lauren Mizikar (Christopher) Garniewski of Bear, DE and Michael Mizikar of Newark, DE; great grandchild, Harper Lydia Dugan; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, Rostraver Twp. with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township.
