Hal Rick Spence Perry

On Sunday, January 28 th , Hal Rick Spence Perry , our beloved husband, son, father and brother, went to be with his Lord Jesus. Born October 19 th , 1956 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Richard & Betty Perry, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 37 years, Tina Golock Perry, the sons of whom he was so proud, Joshua (David), Matthew, Daniel and Hal (Nina), and his special granddaughters Kendalynn, Ashlynn, and Madalynn. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Elmer Golock, brothers-in-law Edward and Michael Golock, and grandparents August and Camille Lobono.
Rick was an award-winning ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, as well as a history buff that enjoyed discussions on the Titanic, the JFK assassination and the B-17 bomber. He had a great eye for detail and was a tremendous Star Trek fan. Anyone who knew him became a friend and he was always willing to help those in need. Rick had a zest for life, a sharp sense of humor, a keen wit, and will be terribly missed.
He is also survived by a sister, Karen (Dan), brothers David (Cheryl), Scott (Linda), and Stephen (Sheri), mother-in-law Barbara Golock, sisters-in-law Cathy (Ron) and Camille, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Monessen police department, Mon Valley EMS and UPMC Presbyterian CICU for their prompt response and professionalism during Ricks last hours.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. in the Church Of St. Anne with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti officiating. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
