Jeannetta Belle Stants

Jeannetta Belle Stants, 87, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Wooddale, PA on October 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles Omar and Evalene (Shaffer) McCune.
A homemaker, Jeannetta was Protestant by faith. She enjoyed country music; she loved to dance, go camping, and being around her family.
She is survived by her sons, David Roger (Donna) Stants of Ruffs Dale and Douglas Arthur (Cindy) Stants of Monongahela; daughters, Jeannetta Darlene Sims of Rostraver Twp., Deborah Elaine (Kenneth) Painter of Van Voorhis; LaDonna Evelyn Griffith of Bunola; Darla Jean McCune of Monongahela and Bobbie Diane Condie of Monongahela; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; brother, James Arthur (Donna Diane) McCune of Belle Vernon; sisters, Helen Marie McCune of Brownsville, Linda Diane (Matthew) Valo of East Millsboro; and sisters-in-law, Virginia McCune of Uniontown and Bertha McCune of Milton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Eugene McCune and Kenneth McCune; sister, Shirley Irene McCune; grandsons, Roger Lee Stants and Ronnie Lee Sims.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Edward Truitt officiating. Interment will follow in Barren Run Cemetery.
