Jennie Alonso

Jennie L. (Lorenzo) Alonso, 85, of Fairless Hills, died on Sunday, June 21, 2015, in At Home at Parkland, in Schnecksville, PA.
Born in Sunnyside and raised in the Village of Webster, Mrs. Alonso was a 1947 graduate of Rostraver High School. She has been a resident of Fairless Hills since 1960 and was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills. She enjoyed gardening and baking. Mrs. Alonso was employed with Italian Peoples Bakery as a sales clerk for 20 years, until retiring in the mid 1990's. Most important to her was raising her children and caring for and loving her entire family.
Mrs. Alonso is the beloved wife of 61 years to Jerry Alonso. She is the loving mother of two sons Randy Alonso (Maria) of Bristol and Jeffrey Alonso (Laura) of Fairless Hills. Mrs. Alonso will also be sadly missed by her grandson, Tim; step granddaughter, Dariza Cintron; and her sister, Patricia Anderson (William) of Belle Vernon.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. James Bump officiating. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
