Joan Jugan

Joan A. ''Jenny'' Jugan, 97, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at The Residence at Hilltop. Born in Fredericktown on December 13, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Silvio and Maria (Orsucci) Gaggini.
Jenny was a member of the Church of St. Anne and the Christian Mothers. She was the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by her son, Andrew (Kellie) Jugan of Jeannette; daughter, Mary (Kenny L.) Hughes of Washington; grandchildren, Jenny Messmer, A.J. (Deanna) Jugan and Daniel (Katy) Jugan; great grandchildren, Christian Messmer, Michael Jugan, Emma Jugan, Evelyn Jugan and Breck Jugan.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jugan in 2011; grandson, Kenneth Hughes; and eight brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
