John Seamon

John J. Seamon, 84, of Greensburg died Friday, June 3, 2016 in Westmoreland Manor. Born in Charleroi on May 5, 1932, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Mayernick) Seamon.
John was a retired steelworker from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He enjoyed gardening, liked to tinker, and was able to fix anything. He served in the U.S. Navy during Korean War.
He is survived by his son, Darryl Seamon of Belle Vernon; daughter, Daria "Dee" (Jeff) Schrock of Belle Vernon; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Michael, Logan and Trevor; brother, Michael (Eileen) Seamon of Monongahela,; and sisters, Evelyn Petrich of Pittsburgh and Marion (Jerry) Nager of Forida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene "Sis" Seamon.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Merritt officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
