John Dennis Wasko

John Dennis Wasko, 82, of Rostraver Township, formerly of Forest Hills and North Braddock, died at home on Friday, April 26, 2024.  Born in Braddock on November 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Albert and Tillie (Dennis) Wasko. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Claudia Wasko.

John was the loving husband of Judith (Comer) Wasko for 60 years. They and their entire family celebrated their 60^th anniversary in January 2024. In addition to his wife, surviving are his daughters, Carolyn (Michael) Lombardo, Sharon (Michael) Skoff and Anita (Steve) Carr; grandchildren, Melissa (Devin) Wright, Nicholas (Lexi) Skoff, Jason Carr and Eric Carr; and his great grandson, Victor. 

John was a 1959 graduate of Scott High School and a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute, becoming a draftsman. He worked for numerous companies during his career and owned his own business. 

Everyone that knew John knew that he loved to golf, belonging to several golf leagues over the years. He and Judy also loved to travel and spent time in Hilton Head for many winters. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Panther basketball team and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His great sense of humor and wit will be missed. Raise a drink for John at the end of your next round of golf!
