Juanita Marie Holliday

Juanita Marie Holliday, 80, of Rostraver Township died Friday, August 9, 2019. She was born July 7, 1939 in Calhoun County, West Virginia, daughter of Arley and Eulah (Conley) Nicholas.
She attended Turkeyfoot High School and was a member of The Community of Christ.
Juanita was a wife, a homemaker and the sweetest Mom to her three sons, Charles L. Holliday and fiance Michelle of Newton Falls, OH, Dr. Glen E. Holliday and wife Nancy of Rostraver and Steven D. Holliday and wife Barb of West Newton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michelle Roberts, Aubrey Holliday Barchiesi, Adam Holliday, Sydney Holliday and Natalie Sanches; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Caleb Sanches and Arya and Emilia Barchiesi; brothers, Bill (Linda) Nicholas of Largo, FL and Roger (Mary Ann) Nicholas of Shock, WV; sisters, Joyce A. Anspach and Patty (Robin) Martin, all of Newton Falls, OH. She was also a precious friend of LaVaughn Roberts.
Juanita was an avid sports fan, primarily of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and she was also a great fan of game shows which she watched with her grandchildren. Juanita was a champion of Solitaire. She spent the last four years of her life being cared for by her nephew, Paul Nicholas, Director and nieces Theresa Prince and Tina Enos and the caring staff at Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg PA. She will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will be sharing sweet memories.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Ray Holliday; her parents, Arley and Eulah Nicholas; sister, Etta Pearl Schulz; brothers, Burton Glenn Nicholas and Lawrence Paul Nicholas.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. and will be handled by The Community of Christ Church. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
