Judith M. Garland Strang

Judith M. Garland Strang, 84, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on March 2, 2025 at Tampa General Hospital Spring Hill. Born in McKeesport on April 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Sandusky) Garland. Formerly of Webster, Judy has resided in Spring Hill with her husband, Melvin, for 25 years. 

Judy was a devout Catholic and was very strong in her faith. Her time on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved them all deeply. She treasured every moment she spent surrounded by her family. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and playing games with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her infinite kindness, unyielding faith, and for giving the best hugs!

Judy`s passing has left a void in the hearts of her family. She will be forever missed, and we look forward to seeing her again. 

 She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Melvin E. Strang, whom she married on November 16, 1961; children, Danita Balaska, Michael (Kathy) Strang, Darlene (Jeff) Amodeo and Dana Kimmel; grandchildren, Keri Balaska, Michael Balaska, Kalee Kukonik, Brandi Allen, Shayna Watson, Jessica Clark, Richard Kimmel, Joseph Kimmel, Samantha Barker and Brittany Kimmel; 15 great grandchildren; and brothers, Donald Garland of Amity PA and Ronald DeMillion of Largo Florida.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Garland, Berrnard Garland and Victor Sandusky; and sister, Sandee Keith.

 Friends will be received on Friday from 12 to 5 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com  

 A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver with Rev. Roselo Melloria presiding, followed by entombment in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
