Karan A. Ruokonen

Karan A. Ruokonen, 75, of Rostraver Township, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 in AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on March 31, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Anna M. (Hofmann) Street.
Karan was a member of the Church of St. Anne and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She liked to play cards, was an avid bowler and enjoyed the Meadows and Atlantic City. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald D. Ruokonen; son, Ryan (Mindi) Ruokonen of Rostraver Twp.; daughter, Kelly (Chris) Ceccarelli of North Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Hunter Ruokonen, Chase Ruokonen, Mollie Ruokonen and Maddox Ceccarelli; brother, Robert (Carole) Street of Rostraver Twp.; and nephew, Rob Street of Frenchville, PA.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome .com where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti officiating. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery.
