Larry J. Sorton

Larry J. Sorton, 63, of Belle Vernon, died at home on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Born in McKeesport on November 27, 1953, he is the son of Frank and Janet (Wiles) Sorton, who survive and reside in Elizabeth Twp.
Larry served in the United States' Marine Corps. After he was discharged from the U.S.M.C. he spent most of his adult life working in construction. He will be remembered as a very hardworking, proud and loving father.
In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by his sons, Larry J. (Danielle) Sorton of Scott Twp., Josh Sorton and Aaron Goodman; daughters, Sarah (William) Smith and Emily Sorton, all of Elizabeth Twp.; grandchildren, Addison and Ryan Smith and Cailyn and Mya; and his siblings, Frank Sorton, Penny Richardson, Cindy McManus, Vicky Tyron-Sorton, Candy Meyers, Geri Williams and Howard Sorton.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
