Lillian P. Smith

Lillian P. Smith, 98, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, May 20, 2024.  Born in Red Bank, PA on December 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Zerie and Edith M. (Rowe) Vinck.

A loving homemaker, Lillian enjoyed baking and crocheting. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Monessen and was the last surviving member of her family.   

She is survived by her sons, Robert M. Smith of California and Timothy J. Smith of Florida; daughters, Peggy Heffner of Daisytown and Mary Anna Pitner of Rostraver Township; grandchildren, Melissa McElroy, Jason Z. Smith, Christopher Heffner, Elizabeth Gardemeyer, Jon Heffner, Katherine Kozy, Brandon Smith, Zachary Pitner, Conner Pitner, Kaitlyn Smith and Nicholas Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Smith; and son, Kenneth A. Smith.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating.  Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
