Louise M. Kochman, 73, of Monessen, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital. Born in McKeesport on July 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Judermanns) Rodman.
Louise was a member of the Church of St. Anne, where she was a member and past president of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, the New Society Card Club and served on the Funeral Luncheon Committee. She also coached her daughters in the McKeesport Girls Softball League. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Daniel H. Kochman; son, Daniel (Tammie) Kochman of Pittsburgh; daughters, Debra (Amanda Shearer) Vlahos of Elizabeth and Tim Vlahos of Penn Hills, Susan (Dawn Ziros) Kochman of Irwin and Tammy (John) Traczynski of Monessen; grandchildren, Angela (Anthony) Tyner, Sarah (Timothy) Reynolds, Timothy Vlahos, Daniel Kochman, Sydney Kochman and Jacob Traczynski; great-granddaughter; Grace Tyner; sister, Catherine Milholland of Spokane, Washington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings, Sister Florita Rodman CDP, George Rodman, Nicholas Rodman, Leonard Rodman and Robert Rodman.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, North Versailles.
