Marian Pasternak

Marian Pasternak, 88, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Westmoreland Manor. Born in McKeesport on March 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Marco and Mary (Benvin) Sabich.
Marian worked as a secretary and was a member of Holy Family Church in West Newton.
She is survived by her son, David M. Pasternak of Rostraver Township; daughter, Mari Ann (Regis) Mikach of Cambridge Springs, PA; grandchildren, Caitlin Pasternak, Justin Pasternak, Melony Shanley and Michelle Bernosky; great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Ava and Zachary;
brother, Frank (Donna) Sabich of Greensburg; and sister, Evelyn Eichelberger of Fort Pierce, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward J. Slivensky; and second husband, Walter H. Pasternak.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.
