Marjorie A. Sleasman

Marjorie A. Sleasman , 87, of Elyria Ohio, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at University Hospital Elyria with her family by her side. Born in Elizabeth, PA on April 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Grace (Trainer) Laverick.

Marjorie was the oldest of 12 children and was devoted to her entire family. She worked at Convenient Food Mart as both a baker and in the meat department. She retired from the Lorain County Blood Bank in Elyria. She truly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her children Bonnie (Steve) Hovinetz, Ronald (Lindy) Sleasman, Daniel (Lynn) Sleasman, Terry Gwynn and Christopher Sleasman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings Evelyn Forsythe, William (Linda) Laverick, Howard (Audrey) Laverick, Sharon (Randy) Pence and Sandy (James) Crovak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sleasman Sr.; siblings, Larry Laverick, Peggy McIntosh, Patricia Fenton, Ronald Laverick, Harold Laverick, James Laverick; and son-in-law, Robert Gwynn.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
