Martin A. Badzik, 71, of Donora, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Select Specialty McKeesport Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on November 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Michael and Sophie (Homa) Badzik.
Martin retired from USX Irvin Works. He was a member of The Carpenters Cross Church in Webster. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and his three dogs: Petey, Betsy and Sir Winston. His grandchildren were the love and joy of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Guerra) Badzik; two sons Martin A. "Koo" Badzik Jr. of Donora and Michael L. (Lee Ann) Badzik of Ernest, PA; four grandchildren, Marissa Badzik, Michael Badzik, Matthew Badzik and Marcus Badzik; two sisters, Gloria (Vaughn) Moreau of Coraopolis and Louise (Bernard) Haluch of Baldwin.
There will be no public visitation. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Carpenters Cross Church, Webster with Pastor Henry Frain officiating. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be served at the church.
