Pauline Greeban

Pauline A. Greeban, 92, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 in The Hallsworth House, Monessen. Born in Donora on September 16, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Roman) Petrisin.
Pauline was a soft spoken, kind, witty and giving person. A 1940 graduate of Donora High School, Pauline graduated from Duff's Business College and attended Rider College in New Jersey. She worked as a secretary for US Steel, where she retired in 1967 and later for Pennsburg School District in Bucks County, where she retired in 1994. A member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township, she enjoyed skiing, golfing, ice skating, painting, arts and crafts. We all grieve her passing but we celebrate her wonderful life. The family would like to thank the staff of The Hallsworth House and Viaquest Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Vivio of Monessen; sisters-in-law, Ginny Greeban of Freeport, L.I., New York and Millie Petrisin of Clairton; and nephews, David (Tammy) Vivio of McDonald, Ronald (Michelle) Vivio of Monongahela, Jeffrey (Joyce) Vivio of Monessen, Gerald (Alena) Petrisin of Clairton, John (Karen) Petrisin of Venetia, Dennis (Brenda) Petrisin of West Newton, Ray (Cheryl) Petrisin of Morgantown, West Virginia and Robert Petrisin of Temecula, California.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Greeban; a brother, Jerome Petrisin; and brothers-in-law, Albert E. Vivio and Thomas Greeban.
Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Belle Vernon with Rev. Vincent J. Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery.
