Peter E. Beckiary

Peter E. Beckiary, 89, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Havencrest Nursing Center. Born in Monessen on March 14, 1928, he was the son of the late Emanuel and Rose Beckiary.
Peter was an accountant for Wheeling/Pittsburgh Steel Corp., retiring after 37 years. He also drove the school bus for the B V A School District for 14 years. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Catholic Church in Monessen and the Monessen Amateur Radio Club.
Peter is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marian (Pratley) Beckiary.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Fannie Markopolos.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
