Ricky A. Fitzsimmons

Ricky A. Fitzsimmons, 62, of Rostraver Township, died Thursday, August 3, 2023. Born in Bangor, Maine on September 18, 1960, he was the son of Bertha Lenora (Balsinger) Fitzsimmons, who survives and resides in West Newton and the late Otto Joseph Fitzsimmons.

Ricky worked for US Steel Clairton Works in maintenance. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a member of Tri-County Lodge No. 252 F&AM Donora.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amy (Wilkerson) Fitzsimmons; daughters, Melissa Fitzsimmons (Sean Eichinger) of Greensboro, NC and Melody (Derek) Micheals of Penn Twp., PA; step daughter, Christine (Brandon) James of Moores Hill, IN; granddaughter, Serenity James; sister, Beverly Fitzsimmons VanDyke of West Newton; niece, Savannah VanDyke of Mt. Pleasant;several aunts, uncles, cousing and his dog and best friend, Tippie.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 7 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Masonic Funeral Service will be conducted by Tri-County Lodge No. 252 on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by interment in West Newton Cemetery.
