Robert A. Mcknight

Robert A. McKnight, 92, of Irwin, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 12, 2018. Born in Clairton on March 7, 1926, he was the son of the late Columbus L. and Margaret K. (Shore) McKnight.
Bob was a maintenance man by trade and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Andy) Kean of TN and Lynn (Silas) Compton of AR; grandchildren, Rylan (Taylor) Kean, Khroy (Jenny) Kean, Michael Sellers and Kara (Wesley) Miller; great grandchildren, Brecken, Kaylee, Korey, Keziah, Noah and Selah; siblings, Hazel Huffman of MI, Charles (Charlene) McKnight of MI, William Dennis (Shirley) McKnight of Belle Vernon and David "Pete" (Sallie) McKnight of MI; special caregivers and nieces, Patti Smith and Debbie Custer; and many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anita McKnight.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. with his nephew, Rev. David McKnight, officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
