Roberta M. Howell

Roberta M. Howell, 82, of Belle Vernon died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the home of her daughter. Born in Battletown, Kentucky on June 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Rose (Stell) Peabody.
Roberta was a loving wife, mother and sister; she was the matriarch of her family.
She is survived by her children, Delores Werner, Keith Howell, both of Belle Vernon, Russell Howell of Smithton and Leeann Howell of Washington; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, 3 great grandsons and a great-great grandson; sister, Alice Faye Bealko of Irwin.
In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Howell; son, Wayne Howell; and two grandchildren, Jenay and David.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the James C. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery.
