Roy Lee Weaver, 89, of Rostraver Township died Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Charleroi on October 4, 1935, he was the son of the late Leroy Daniel and Eva (Hnatko) Weaver.

Roy Weaver was known as the "Ole Man" of the mountain coined by fellow hunters who assisted him with Utility Vehicles to carry him and his deer off from Webster hill over the years. As a former Marine (USMC), he was an excellent marksman and kept predators at bay in and around his homestead. He loved the hills and outdoors and was kind and caring to wildlife he raised and pets. He had a great sense of humor and a kind heart.

He is survived by his children; Marlena (Dimery) Macias, David Weaver and Leroy Weaver; and sister; Bette Rae (Weaver) Cathcart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annita Louise (Dimery) Weaver.
