Sarah Jane Stangroom

Sarah J. Stangroom, 86, of New Stanton, died Sunday, October 3, 2021. Born in North Charleroi on November 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Ethel May (Walker) Pearce.
Sarah was a fan of country music and enjoyed building jigsaw puzzles. She was a fanatic about cleaning!
She is survived by her sons, Clyde Stangroom and Clayton Stangroom; daughters, Cheryl Stangroom and Cindy Cunningham; sisters, Dolores Cekus and Shirley Romestan. She also leaves behind all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Stangroom; daughters, Cathy Stangroom and Carly Stangroom.
