Shelley Cox

Shelley Cox, 58, of Donora, died at her home on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Born in Rostraver Township on September 12, 1959, she was the daughter of the late David H. and Florence (Staff) Cox.
Shelley was a Nurse's Aide at Havencrest Nursing Center. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora and participated in the Rosary Society of the church.
She is survived by her loving fianc, Paul J. Lorenzo; daughters, Lorna Shoemaker and her husband, Ever Sorto, Rona Cox, and Gloria Shoemaker; step daughters, Christina (Adam) Heckman and Paula Pappas; grandchildren, Tony Sorto, Karen Sorto, Jasmine Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Gezelle Hernandez, Josiah Hernandez, Christopher Lane and Tatiana Steven; step-grandchildren, Riley Vedder, her Godson, Mackenzie Heckman, Jordan Pappas, Brianna Pappas and Joshua Pappas.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Valley Church with Rev. Pierre Falkenhan as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
