Thomas F. Kochowski, 84, of Rostraver Township died at home on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Born in Munhall on November 10, 1930, he was the son of the late Michael and Caroline (Ginaiska) Kochowski.
Tom worked as a salesman for numerous beverage distributors. A graduate of Munhall High School and Duquesne University, he was an active member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township, where he served as an usher. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean (Forsythe) Allen Kochowski; son, John (Denise Babeji) Allen; grandson, Jedadiah (Arley) Allen; granddaughters, Courtney and Kaylyn Allen; great grandchildren, Eli and Evangeline Allen; and sister, Regina Graczyk.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Allen IV; granddaughter, Caree; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Blessing Service will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Anne with the Rev. James Bump as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
